Milestone Coffee, Bali

Similar to Kuta or Seminyak, Sanur area also has a number of cozy cafes to chill at. Today, I visited Milestone Coffee which was located not far from Sindhu Beach Sanur. This cafe occupies a 2-storey shophouse. For those seated on the upper floor, no need to go downstairs back and forth as there will be some staffs to assist you there.

Believe it or not, this was my first time that I found a coffee shop in Indonesia serving plain water free of charge. Meanwhile in Singapore, most cafes provide plain water since tap water is drinkable there. It is very rare for coffee shops in Indo to have complimentary plain water served to you as you are seated. Great job Milestone Coffee, much appreciated!

Iced Chocolate - IDR32,000
The appearance looked kinda unappealing, it looked diluted. However, it fared pretty well, although it tasted more like cold chocolate milk. Also, it was slightly too sweet for my liking.

Golden Chicken Strips - IDR38,000
This dish actually belongs to finger food / snack category, and I had never expected this to be filling. Me, who intended to eat only light bites, ended up leaving with full tummy thanks to this dish. The chicken strips were crispy albeit lacking meat. The fries was generous - the chicken strips were literally lying on a bed of fries!

Overall, Milestone Coffee is one good place to hang out or do some work. They provide free wi-fi and power points for charging. The price is still reasonable and the food is decent. Worth my second visit!
