Liu Fu Porridge & Chinese Resto, Surabaya

Hello Chinese food and porridge lovers! Let me introduce you to my newest favorite porridge place in town, Liu Fu! Liu Fu is located on Jl. Manyar Kertoarjo, just across Bonnet. Despite being a small shophouse type restaurant, the place is very clean and the food is great.

Es Teh Manis - IDR5,500

Although the sugar was not served separately, it was adequately sweetened.

Es Lemon Tea

It was sourish and refreshing.

Telur Jaipo - IDR22,000

The chye poh egg (as it is commonly known) was simple and filled only with radish. It did not come in beautiful round shape, but it tasted yummy. It was already good alone without the porridge.

Bubur Babi - IDR17,000

Pork porridge is my favorite menu at Liu Fu. It is cheap and big in portion. It contained minced pork, salted egg slices, you tiao and century egg slices. The porridge itself was smooth. I could not help but fall for this comforting bowl.

Bubur Seafood - IDR17,000

This is similar to bubur babi with shrimp meat substituting pork meat.

Overall, Liu Fu serves delectable porridge and Chinese food at very affordable price. Another plus point is that Liu Fu opens as early as 7am until 1am midnight, yay! Now I can easily satisfy my porridge craving late at night.
