[Closed] Play Domicile, Surabaya
Yesterday, I went for a pre-Christmas dinner at Play Domicile with my church friend. Opened by the team behind Domicile Kitchen & Lounge, Play Domicile is also an upscale restaurant with semi fine dining concept.
The ambiance looks chic and elegant with low lighting, which is perfect for romantic dates. In the afternoon, it is decked with natural light as it is located in the lobby of TP6. The place is wide and equipped with ample spacing, so as to allow private conversations to take place.
Iced Apple-Mint Tea - IDR30,000
Judging from the presentation, the iced teas here are iced-shaken. Could not really detect the mint though.
Iced Lemon Tea - IDR30,000
It tasted like regular iced tea. Come on, it could definitely be better at such price.
Fusilli - IDR75,000
This simply-named dish is made of fusilli pasta, chicken with pesto basil, light tomato pomodoro sauce, and parmesan cheese. The flavours of basil and tomato were distinct, although I wish they were more generous with the pesto sauce. Pretty sure it would go well with garlic bread too.
Spicy Sausage & Bacon Pizza - IDR75,000
On the table was also the classic pizza with sausage and bacon, which were generously laid over tomato-based sauce. We can choose between regular and thin crust - our pick obviously went to the thin one, which was crispy and did not easily break. If I'm not wrong, the pizza is 9" in size, and one whole round can feed up to 2 hungry people.
