[Closed] Glacier, Singapore

I found this frozen yogurt shop tucked away at a corner of Paya Lebar Square. Glacier implements partial self-service concept, whereby we are allowed to swirl the froyo as much as we like, priced at $3 per 100 grams. However, we cannot get the topping ourselves - the staff will scoop your chosen topping for you and it is chargeable by serving, not by weight. Besides normal froyo, they also serve waffle, smoothies and parfait.

Yogurt Parfait - $6.90

I chose to get a cup of parfait instead of normal froyo coz I thought it would be more worth it. We are allowed to build our own yogurt parfait with the combination of 1 flavor, 3 wet toppings, 2 crunch toppings, and 1 sauce. Unlike Llaollao that only has plain flavor, Glacier's froyo comes in various flavors that rotate regularly. My yogurt parfait consisted of red velvet yogurt, watermelon, blueberry, strawberry, mini marshmallows, fruity pebbles and dark chocolate sauce. I chose red velvet flavor since I thought it was rare and unique. It turned out sweeter than normal froyo with slightly creamier texture. The marshmallows lacked a little bit of fluffy texture.

Yogurt Parfait - $6.90

Meanwhile, my friend also got yogurt parfait with lychee flavor, peach, nata de coco, popping boba, mini marshmallows, muesli and caramel sauce. The lychee flavor tasted a little bit sourer than original one. It was well-paired with both wet and dry toppings.

Overall, froyo lovers may love the idea of paying-by-weight as they can have as much yogurt as they want, although this will result in costly price. Anyway, the staffs at Glacier were very amicable and they patiently let us decide which topping to get and described every flavor they had in store.
