The Clue-less Goat, Singapore

The Clue-less Goat? Such a unique name for a cafe ya, haha. No worry, this cafe will not leave you clueless to find it - it is located just outside Novena MRT, on the shophouses next to United Square. Their menu is simple, just a double-sided menu sheet with usual brunch fares like eggs benedict, breakfast plate, sandwiches and waffles. Cake selections are also available on the display.

Iced Chocolate - $5.50
It possessed a good consistency and chocolatey taste.

British Breakfast Platter - $14.80
For the hungry one, this is suitable for you. It consists of your choice of eggs, roasted tomato, chorizo, streaky bacon, tater tots, sauteed cremini and toast. My friend chose his eggs to be scrambled, and I had no idea how hungry he was that he added additional poached eggs haha (it costs $1.50 for extra poached eggs). The chorizo sausage was slightly spicy but juicy. The rest of the element tasted nice too.

Breakfast Waffle - $9.50
The thin-type waffle was used here and it would be better if it was fluffier. It actually came with fried egg, but I asked the staff to replace it with scramble eggs for an additional $1.50 (why must we pay for substitution huh?). You may choose between honey baked ham or streaky bacon to go with the waffle. The scrambled eggs and bacon were alright, no complain. It turned out to be a filling dish in general. For merely $9, it is definitely worth ordering.

The Clue-less Goat is a place I would certainly recommend for a value-for-money brunch in town area. You can literally have brunch here with just $15 in your pocket. No GST and service charge imposed, yet the service is very amiable.
