OverEasy, Singapore

OverEasy is a contemporary American diner at One Fullerton (they also have another branch at Liat Towers Orchard). It looks eye-catching with checkered tiles, typical diner-style seats and retro cinema signage above the bar. There are options of indoor or outdoor seating. We came at 10.30pm and sat in indoor area. It was a bit dark inside but it gave us aircon comfort haha.

Sorry for not providing a clear, bright pictures of the place, but the place looks very Instagenic by the day. It truly represents authentic American diner experience. The indoor area was rather empty when we came, but there were good vibes all around.

The best thing about OverEasy is its location. The outdoor area offers a beautiful scenery of Marina Bay. If it is not hot outside, sitting outside would be a great way to enjoy the Singapore skyline and its iconic landmarks: Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and Esplanade.

If you are a sucker for toilet aesthetic like me, OverEasy's toilet makes a perfect backdrop for your Instagram feed

Left: Oreo Milkshake - $12
If you are craving for some milkshake, OverEasy is the place to be. OverEasy has perfected their signature milkshake formula to hit the right thickness and sweetness. The milkshake was nicely blended with generous serving of Oreo. It has been quite some time since the last time I had great milkshake, so I thought I had spent a good $12 on their milkshake. And you don't need to order dessert because the milkshakes here can be desserts on their own lol.

Right: Berry Bonanza - $14
This is a mixture of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, marshmallows and chocolate with M&M's chocolate and a piece of marshmallow on top. It is like eating black forest cake in liquid form, although the chocolate is rather too dominant. There should be more berries inside to make the drink less sinful haha.

Good Ol' Fashioned Mac & Cheese - $14
The supper menu is limited to a few munchies only but the good thing is we get 20% off the price. The mac & cheese here is also to die for. The macaroni was coated in rich sauce and topped with cheesy and crunchy breadcrumbed layer. The dish is made from 3 kinds of cheese, so it is definitely not for the faint-hearted. But for some reasons, I did not find this dish cloying.

Overall, it was a calorie-loaded kind of night, but every single calorie was worth it. The food and drink succeeded to deliver good taste and quality. After all, treating yourself to sinful food once in a while would not hurt right? And where else would you go to if you crave for milkshake in the middle of the night?
