[Closed] Choo Choo Chicken 츄츄 + [Outlet Closed] Ben & Jerry's, Singapore
One day, my friend and I felt like eating Korean chicken for dinner, so we went to Choo Choo Chicken on Bali Lane (near Haji Lane). The place is not spacious, probably can only accommodate around 20 people. We were greeted and ushered to the table by a Korean guy staff (ahem girls, this is a place where you can find Korean oppas with cute Engrish).
Iced Lemon Tea
The iced lemon tea came in a form of canned drink. No need further explanation right?
Potato Wedges - $5
It came in a generous portion, but it tasted like standard frozen food.
Choo Choo Spam Burger - $6.90
We ordered this seaweed-rice burger with spam (luncheon meat) out of curiosity, although I never liked rice burger at all. The combination turned out pretty good - they really 'spammed' the meat all over the burger.
Wing & Drumlet (8 pieces) - $16
Our chicken came in garlic and spicy flavors. I really like their garlic chicken! It was drenched with fragrant garlic seasoning and the skin was so crispy even with the glazing. Meanwhile, I took the courage to try my friend’s spicy wings and boy, the spiciness was no joke!
Overall, Choo Choo Chicken serves good Korean chicken at relatively affordable prices. I will surely be back for the Korean oppas their fingerlickin' chicken! There were also some Craftholic plush on the seats for guests to take pics with. So cute!

Moved on to Orchard for some dessert... Ben & Jerry's has opened their newest store at 313@Somerset, on the spot where Charlie Brown Cafe was previously located. I would say the place was quite small. The indoor one is only for ordering and takeaway, and if you want to dine in, they have only a few seats outdoor.
Medium Cup
The medium cup here allows you to choose two flavors. Chocolate Therapy is a mix of chocolate pudding ice cream with chocolate cookies, while Phish Food is a mix of chocolate ice cream with fudge fish, marshmallow and caramel swirl. I could not detect any marshmallow flavor though. Lesson learnt: ordering two chocolate flavors will cause you a severe thirst afterwards. But it was so sinful!
Large Cup
The large cup allows you to choose three flavors, whereby we chose Berry Berry Extraordinary, Strawberry Cheesecake and Mango Mango. The berry one, which was a swirl of blueberry and raspberry sorbet, was damn good! It was perfect to eat on that freaking hot day, with the sour sensation bursting out in my mouth. The latter two were just ordinary. I did not touch the mango flavor since I did not like mango haha.
