Product Review: Kookie.Do

Are you the type of person who love eating raw cookie dough? Hi-five! I love it too, but unfortunately it is not a safe thing to do, since the raw eggs in the dough may contain bacteria. Does that mean we cannot consume cookie dough anymore? Hell no! Whoever American who had come up with the brilliant idea of edible cookie dough, I'm so thankful for you! And the best thing, this precious treat is available in Indonesia. Rejoice friends!

Recently, I ordered Kookie.Do's edible cookie dough through their reseller in Surabaya. They have various kinds of flavor like classic, Oreo, unicorn, salted caramel, PB&J and some others. I decided to try the Cereal Killer flavor, where they threw in froot loops, Marie biscuits and corn flakes inside the cookie dough. You can make cookies from this cookie dough by baking it in the microwave. But I would discourage this method though. Why bake it when you can put it in your mouth? Haha. No worry, it is safe to consume since it is eggless and made from pre-heated flour. The only risk you may get from eating it is sugar high - but who cares.

Kookie.Do states that it can last up to 3 months before you open it for the first time, but once it is opened, it will last shorter and it should remain kept in fridge.

Let's dig right in! The cookie dough base is excellent - it has nice richness and buttery taste. I would suggest you to share it as the richness might be overwhelming if consumed alone. It would be more perfect to pair with ice cream too (think McDonald's soft-serve). Every spoonful will give you real eating raw cookie dough sensation, something nostalgic if you have not been doing it in a while.

Overall, I would give this Cereal Killer cookie dough a 9.5/10. Everything was on point, except that the richness could get sickening at times. I would definitely order from Kookie.Do again. Even if you are not a big fan of cookie dough, I guarantee you will enjoy this treat.
