5 Little Bears 五只小熊 + [Closed] 320 Below Nitro Cream Cafe, Singapore

We were walking around Paya Lebar Square, looking for something new to eat as we were getting tired of food court, McDonald's and Burger King. We then found this small Taiwanese eatery on the basement. Even though there are limited seats available, it seems like they never run out of patrons.

Salted Crispy Chicken - $4

We shared this plate of salted crispy chicken. The chicken was not too meaty, but I like the seasoning.

Oyster Mee Sua - $4.50

The oyster was quite generous. I did not try this since I did not like oyster, but I managed to try the broth. It was warm, starchy and had a bit of fishy taste.

Chicken Chop Bento - $7.50

I think it is a bit pricey at $7.50. I only ate the chicken, braised egg, and a little veggie on the top right hand corner. The chicken was tender and had nice seasoning (similar to my salted chicken side dish).

It was a decent meal, although I was not sure whether it was value for money. Another positive side is that there is no GST and service charge, therefore self-service system is implemented here.

We moved to One KM to do some grocery shopping before going home. While walking, we spotted an ice cream parlour called 320 Below Nitro Cream Cafe. 320 Below claims to be the first nitro ice cream cafe in Singapore. Their ice cream is made of liquid nitrogen without any usage of flavoring, preservative, emulsifier and stabilizer. It is freshly made upon order and you can see how your ice cream is made on the spot. So fun!

Nutella with Marshmallows - $5.50

The downside of nitro ice cream is that we cannot try the flavors first as it is made on the spot. Since Nutella could hardly go wrong, I opted for Nutella flavor. The Nutella ice cream costs $4.90 while a topping costs 60 cents. The Nutella flavor was super duper yummy and chocolatey. I always love fluffy and chewy stuffs to pair with ice cream, and having some marshmallows thrown into the ice cream was just a perfect idea. 

I totally recommend this place for you to get a cup of nitro ice cream at a relatively affordable price. Their outlet at One KM also has some seats too, great for chatting over a cup of ice cream.
