[Outlet Closed] Yogurtland, Surabaya

America's favorite frozen yogurt has finally arrived in Surabaya. Please welcome, Yogurtland! With the concept of self-service froyo, Yogurtland rotates their flavors regularly to keep up with the latest trend and to lash your creativity.

At Yogurtland, you can expect the freshest yogurt made from real California milk without any added antibiotics or hormones. Pair it with their selection of toppings, including freshly-cut fruits and boba (yes, even this yogurt chain is also riding on the boba wave). If you have sweet tooth, you can also opt for toppings like marshmallows and chocolate fudge.

Among the available 6 flavors, I went for Original Tart, Salted Caramel Pecan, Rocket Pop Sorbet and Chocolate Twilight. Oh ya, the middle lever of the yogurt machine will dispense 2 different flavors at once. I was impressed by the smoothness and creaminess of the original yogurt. It was also dense and did not melt quickly. The taste was light and refreshing. As for the salted caramel, I could barely taste any saltiness. The Rocket Pop Sorbet flavor was unique, it tasted exactly like fruit popsicle, making it a perfect treat for the hot weather.

This is the counter where you will weigh and pay your froyo

Just like any other self-service yogurt shops, prices are charged based on the weight. It costs IDR28,000 per 100 grams. Mine cost around IDR38,000 *sigh*.

Overall, I was satisfied with my experience at Yogurtland. Feel free to take the yogurt and be creative with the toppings, just be careful because your yogurt may end up being overpriced. My suggestion is to take only a small serving of each flavor and combine it with dry toppings, since wet toppings like fruits are heavier in weight.
