Glasshouse, Singapore

Just like its name, Glasshouse is a glass house-themed cafe in CHIJMES that serves coffee and assortment of toasts. The interior is rather spacious and bright, while the garden-esque decor gives a calm feeling which is a perfect supplement to your morning cafe sesh.

I observed that most guests came here to do some work and casual talks. Besides coffee, Glasshouse also serves cakes and pastries on display.

White - $4.50
I got myself a cup of single shot white brew (you may opt for the double shot version). It possessed medium body which was light and not too acidic. I must say their coffee is great, furthermore it comes at a reasonable price point.

Classic Salmon Toast - $10

I did not taste the toast (salmon just ain't my thing lol) but judging from the appearance it looked quite filling. It would be good if they add more variety of savory food aside of the toast.

Overall, Glasshouse is the place to be to chill out while sipping on a cup of joe. For what you get, the prices are considered affordable given its central location. It will put you in a stellar mood to kick-start the day. Coffee is amazing, staffs are friendly, and the place is cozy - what more you can ask for?
