APS3 Social Hub at Kampi Hotel, Surabaya
APS3 Social Hub is the all-day dining space at the relatively-new Kampi Hotel Surabaya which offers buffet and ala carte dining options. Even if you don't stay in the hotel, you can eat and chill there. When I arrived there at 10.30am, the place was rather empty. The staffs started clearing up the breakfast buffet and preparing for lunch.
I always love bright and spacious interior. The use of wide windows allows plenty of natural light, which helps us produce good photos too. APS3 largely incorporates white color and wooden furniture, to create minimalist yet stylish space.
Coffee Latte - IDR30,000
I did not put my expectations too high for their coffee. Despite the unsuccessful attempt of making latte art, I gotta say the latte was a decent one.

Vietnam Drip - IDR30,000
My brother got intrigued to order Vietnam Drip coffee, which came with a stainless metal drip filter on top that allowed the coffee to slowly trickle through the press and into the cup. Actually the coffee had been pre-dripped before, so we just needed to stir the coffee with the condensed milk well. It tasted robust, not too sweet and the temperature was just right.

Ayam Uleg - IDR45,000
My brother thought 'Ayam Uleg' referred to ayam penyet, but what he got was ayam geprek (first time having IDR45,000 ayam geprek lol). We get to choose our desired level of spiciness from level 1 to 5. The chicken was well-seasoned and crispy, but the level 1 sambal was super fiery already.

The food and drink at APS3 were satisfying, and most importantly they come at reasonable prices. Overall, it is a good spot for a leisurely lunch / dinner date. I would return to try their buffet menu in the future.
