[Outlet Closed] Raa Cha Suki & BBQ, Surabaya

Raa Cha is a restaurant specializing in Thai-style BBQ and suki. You will need to pick your preferred ingredients from the display fridge, pay them, and then a staff will usher you to your table. On every table, there are mini grill pan and boiling pot. Here, you can grill your BBQ and cook the suki by yourself, but for convenience sake we asked the staff to cook for us.

They also have dessert and drink counter. You can choose from Thai tea, lemon tea, Thai coffee, to green tea. Too bad the drinks are not refillable, but ice cube is free.

I was lucky to come here for lunch, as I could get this Go-Pay special promo at only IDR22,000. For the price, you will get a choice of salty/spicy/sweet beef, rice and iced lemongrass tea. It is super worth it and I must say the portion is generous. To enhance your BBQ experience, get some free sauce from the counter - there are chili, garlic, soy and Raa Cha sauces. My favorite is the garlic one, which was comforting to pair with the grilled meat. The meat itself was tender, juicy and flavorful.

Raa Cha 1 - IDR24,545

We also tried their suki and we got the Raa Cha 1 set which consisted of various veggie, enoki mushroom, dumplings and beancurd. You can choose between chicken and tom yum soup, or even both. The tom yum soup tasted spicy, but more flavorful than the chicken one.

Overall, I felt satisfied eating at Raa Cha. The place is spacious and service is efficient. Having suki and BBQ can be quite sweaty, but worry not because this place is fully-airconed.
