Toko Oen, Malang

Established in 1930, this place used to be Dutch dukes and duchesses' favorite place to relax. Up until now, Toko Oen still maintains its vintage interior and authenticity of Dutch-style ice cream. You can spot rattan chairs and old skool radio here. So classic!

Napolitain - IDR21,000

It is basically a piece of strawberry and vanilla ice cream (from what I know, neapolitan is 3-in-1 flavored ice cream though). Just like typical Dutch ice cream, Toko Oen's ice cream was not overly sweet. Me likey!

Oen's Special - IDR35,000

This ice cream creation consists of three different flavors (chocolate, vanilla and strawberry), served with chocolate wafer, whipped cream and cherry. It is similar to banana split minus the banana. Again, it was an enjoyable dessert.

I was satisfied with the ice cream and I enjoyed spending time here. Ice cream lovers, you gotta visit this place when you are in Malang!
