Gusto Gelato & Caffe, Bali
There is no better place to chill in Bali than ice cream shops. After all, you will always need to cool yourself down under the heat. My best find so far would probably be Gusto Gelato & Caffe. This place might look small from the front, but inside it has ample indoor and outdoor spaces with a large parking area.
The ordering system here is firstly you have to choose the cup size (or you can also have it with cone), pay the amount of price and then have your gelato scooped down for you to enjoy. There are just too many flavors to choose from! The flavors available are unique, something rarely found in common ice cream shops, such as basil, ginger, and spicy chocolate. Feel free to ask for samples ya!
Front: Snickers & Matcha Gelato - IDR22,000 (small size)
Pairing sweet and bitter stuffs always work out for me. The Snickers flavor was sweet and a bit salty. It also contained Snickers chunks inside. The matcha flavor tasted like what I had expected. It was neither too bitter nor sweet.
Back: Guava & Chocolate Gelato - IDR22,000 (small size)
Fruit-based gelato is never my thing, so I just tried a spoonful of my friend's chocolate gelato. Perfect!
Gusto's area is pretty big for a gelato parlor, consisting of indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor area is spacious and looks good for OOTD, but there are many flies here so it is kinda annoying. Otherwise, I would gladly be back since Gusto's gelato is probably the most pocket-friendly one I have ever come across in Bali with comparable quality to famous brands like Baskin Robbins or Haagen-Dazs.
