Kopi Titik Koma, Surabaya

Located along Jl. Dharmahusada, the newly-opened Kopi Titik Koma is decked in an industrial aesthetic. That means lots of cement and metal, but it looks quite bright inside. The name of 'Titik Koma' is not something new to Surabaya coffee scene (in fact they had established quite a number of outlets in town but most of them are focused on to-go coffee'), and this time they are trying to offer a more conducive ambiance for those looking for places to do some work.

You can also buy their coffee bean in bags, with blends sourced from major coffee growers across the archipelago. Oh did I mention that they got this super cool Korte frozen fudge machine? I should definitely try this next time!

Manual Brew - IDR25,000
For the manual brew, we opted for Batak Tolu beans. It had a unique note of cinnamon which left us savoring for more sips. The acidity was rather high but it went easy on our tastebuds.

Left: Hot Latte - IDR24,000
The latte was mellow and surprisingly not as acidic as I had expected, but the aroma and caffeine kick were not sacrificed. Perfect for casual coffee drinkers.

Right: Hot Matcha Latte - IDR24,000
I thought they put too much matcha powder, making it too bitter and uncomfortable to sip. Notice that moss green color?

Overall, Kopi Titik Koma is a comfortable spot to get some cuppa, as well as to have some work done at. I definitely will not mind to return since I also live in the vicinity hehe. Alongside drinks, they also serve some sweet bites like croffles, cookies and croissants, as well as some food options (microwave-ready food btw).
