Here's another trendy spot in town to add to your list of places to check out if you love Korean street food! Local chain Reddog has opened a new outlet at Tunjungan Plaza and it has been making waves on TikTok and IG reels thanks to its sinfully cheesy, stretchy corndogs. While corndog is actually nothing new in Surabaya, Reddog came out strong with their authentic Korean recipes and Insta-worthy look.

Following the recent hip, Reddog’s theme is inspired by the 80's American diner. From red leather high chairs, black and white floor and checkered wall tiles, the place will definitely bring in flocks of youngster to pose for the feed while waiting for their food to be ready.

Encased within the deep-fried batter and potato cubes was a juicy sausage and mozzarella cheese. I know it would be a travesty to eat corndog without sauce, but worry not because varieties of sauce are available at the counter so you can can DIY your own corndog. First, bite into the crunchy crust. Second, experience an explosion of cheese and lastly, pull and witness the cheese stretch while it's still hot (my apology for not providing the pics hehe).

Aside from the excellent food and service, you may not want to consider having corndogs for your first date. Nah, not with those mouth movements you and your Tinder-swipe-right date will make while munching the corndogs (especially the one with stretchy cheese inside); but of course, if your date still digs you after your corndog date, then he or she is a keeper for sure hehe.
