[Closed] Nunsongyee Korean Dessert Cafe 눈송이, Singapore
The famous Nunsongyee has become more accessible to all Korean bingsu lovers. Other than their first outlet on the ulu Burghley Drive, they have now had 3 other outlets in Katong, Upper Thomson, and Bugis. We visited their Bugis outlet, located just across Bugis Junction. It occupies a 3-storey building but the ordering counter is located on the first floor so yeah, be prepared to go up finding seats, go down ordering, go up waiting for the buzzer to buzz and finally go down again collecting your order.
Oreo Bingsu - $12.90
The bingsu came with crushed Oreo cookies and vanilla ice cream on top. It was also served with a small serving of condensed milk, and there was a bottle of extra condensed milk on the cutlery table. We agreed that even the condensed milk was not sweet at all. The shaved ice need to be milkier as well, as it tasted just legit plain.
I gotta say Nunsongyee does not really live up to its hype as I find its bingsu mediocre. Regarding the service, I only saw one pretty Korean eonni at the counter who did not speak too much unless asked, so there was not much of service done. Psst, if you come here with kids, bring them to the second floor for a snow play experience. No kidding.
