Hot Tomato Cafe & Grill, Singapore

My friend and I wanted something Western to eat for lunch at Nex, but we were sick of eating fast food and Eighteen Chefs. It was a choice between Mad Jack and Hot Tomato since both restaurants were located close to one another. We then picked Hot Tomato without any reason haha.

Homemade Iced Lemon Tea - $2.50

Standard bottled iced lemon tea with a slice of lemon added.

Roast Field Mushroom Soup - $4.50

It is made of white button and shitake mushrooms, flavored with onions and olive oil. The soup was rather watery, making it not worth getting.

Black Pepper Chicken Chop & Sausages - $11.20

The chicken was well-seasoned but the black pepper sauce was not flavorful. The chipolata sausages were tasty and juicy. The spaghetti, on the other hand was too oily and too spicy for my tolerance.

It was a decent meal at Hot Tomato. The serving was generous and the staffs were attentive, although the ambiance was not very good as it was too noisy.
